Kenyan acts are on album frenzy and 2016 is bound to have many albums from our amazing acts.

After the boy band Sauti Sol released their ‘Live and Die in Africa’ that received almost 400, 000 downloads in 48 hours, fans are keen to see if the success will follow the upcoming Albums.

In 2016, we are eagerly anticipating Just A Band’s untitled fourth album after they released their first single Winning in Life.

Atemi is also in the studio busy working on her third album after she released two singles: Bebi Bebi and Moyo.

A new artiste to look out for in the 2016 album releases is the Electric DJs, who released Stronger featuring the sultry Kenyan singer and actress Patricia Kihoro, on Tuesday.

This is the third single off of Electrique DJs’ upcoming album ‘Coming of Age,’ which is set for release in January 2016.

“Stronger is a bonafide feel-good afro house track with a powerful message for all.Stronger is written by Patricia Kihoro and composed and produced by Electrique Djs (Big Daddy, Dj Andrea & MTM). Live Instruments: Tom Olango (Bass Guitar) & Tobby Tinashe (Rhythm Guitar) Label: EER

In the wake of this release, Electrique DJs says, “The urban contemporary African Musician Patricia is a natural fit for Stronger. Her vocals are smooth and melodious and naturally compliment this style of music. We identify with her as an African Musician.”

Stronger is an inspirational song that offers strength and encouragement during seasons of darkness and times of struggle. It focuses on harnessing the strength within to overcome tough times. It also marks the return of Electrique DJs to the music scene following their hiatus and decision to take a break earlier this year.

“Stronger is a song about character – what makes us stronger? If we didn’t know pain we couldn’t enjoy the fruits of our labor. When have you have struggled, even smaller things will bring you joy—your character is getting stronger.” says Patricia Kihoro.

Is this new trend going to change the industry? Be the Judge.
