The first edition of Dîner en Blanc in Nairobi, Kenya is set for Saturday, December 5th at a secret location.
The epicurean event has become a world-famous for the spectacular visuals of its guests all dressed in white who gather at a location that is kept secret until the very last minute. With over 60 events worldwide, over the course of an evening, the diners enhance the function and value of their city’s public space by participating in the unexpected. Le Dîner en Blanc is simply a friendly gathering whose sole purpose is to create a magical evening, where guests are in good company, and in an environment which is both unusual and extraordinary.
As you can imagine, Le Dîner en Blanc is quite different from other evenings: Guests will need to bring a picnic basket comprised of quality menu items and china dinner service to the disclosed secret location, all participants must wear white and be dressed elegantly, and bring one’s refuse when departing.
If you would like to participate, you can sign-up on the waiting list or be invited by an existing member. For more information, head to http://nairobi.dinerenblanc.info
