Listen to Music

Grab your favorite music album, and play it as loud as you can – on repeat. Music is food for the soul, and can make anyone feel better. Even try some new music, or a little Boney M to go with that Christmas tree you put up!

Daydream

All. Day. Long. Even if you aren’t going on holiday, dream about the one that you WILL one day go on, where you want to go and what you’re going to do, It might not be realistic, but will keep your minds off other stuff. Positive thoughts is the start to living a happier life.

Laugh

Until your stomach hurts, and then some. Rent a funny Movie, watch some Trevor Noah, or reminiscent about the past, anything that will make you deliriously happy – if only for that moment , laughter is after all the best medicine.

See a friend

Nothing can make a woman feel better than a good time with a good friend. Meet up for a coffee (or a glass of wine) and talk your heart out. After all, that’s what friends are for – to laugh with you, or cry with you – either way, they will be there to support you.
