The weather was dull but that never dampened my mood to go and venture to the unknown world of Nairobi Fashion Market.
The 9th edition of Nairobi Fashion Market (NFM) held at The Ngong Racecourse wrapped-up on Sunday. The colourful weekend of shopping attracted more than 95 vendors and proved to be even a retail paradise for first-timers and men.
It all started off as a casual walk glaring into some shops with eagerness to find an item or two. I was definitely not disappointed to bump into these pairs of stunning loafers.
I was surprised by the prices and the variety they had, and was even more shocked by the fact that I actually found something of such high quality for men.
The 2-day event showcased a good number of local designers with several runway shows and even featured an organic market where vendors offered natural hair and beauty products to soaps to homemade delicious nut butters.
All in all I would love to encourage men to attend the next edition of NFM – no, not as the designated driver or purse holder, but as a shopper!
