With the 9th edition of Nairobi Fashion Market (NFM) just around the corner, taking place at The Ngong Racecourse October 17th to 18th, Capital Lifestyle is heading down memory lane reminiscing about NFM 2014.
Here’s a recap of last year’s NFM:
The Fall edition of NFM 2014 was nothing short of amazing. It’s still fresh in our minds, as we recall the great clothes, colour, glamour and the shopping.
Last year, a good number of local designers such as Simbaress Fashions, Suave Bags, ModeMara, La Casa Designers, Whistling Thorns, Kikoti, Victorious Bone crafts, Swaheelies and Enzi Crafts, among others, showcased their products. Beauty houses such as Suzie Beauty, Flori Roberts, and Lintons Beauty World showcased the best products in the Kenyan market and there was also great selection of natural & organic products from Zanzi Naturals, Kinks & Twists, Papa Benz and Purple Earth Foods.
The fashion shows were choreographed and produced by Mochez Models and The Sarakasi Dancers, which fused the catwalk and Kenya’s colourful cultural aspects.
