Nairobi Rapsody hosts K.O – South African hip hop artist of “Caracara” fame in Kenya this September (Thursday, 17thSept) at Ebony Lounge, Westlands. Prolific Kenyan rapper King Kaka (Rabbit) is slated as K.O’s main supporting act in the event with DJ Taio on the decks.
The multi award-winning Cashtime Life artist debut album Skhanda Republic is critically acclaimed, birthing hit singles like the 2014 release “Caracara” – the biggest South African hip hop song in recent history, also the first South African hip hop music video to surpass 1 Million YouTube views. Other recent K.O hits include “Son of a Gun”, “Skhanda Love”, “Mission Statement” and “Nobody But Me” featuring Tanzanian songbird Vanessa Mdee.
K.O’s will also be a guest at Kenya’s Storymoja Festival (18th Sept 2015) at Nairobi Arboretum alongside Rabbit and OCTOPIZZO among panelists and experts at an Artist Talk Back event on the topic.
