#MiCasaGoneGlobal heads to Nairobi for 8th edition of #KorogaFestival

Fresh-off of their first international tour, Mi Casa will continue #MiCasaGoneGlobal at the upcoming 8th edition of Koroga Festival, brought to you by Kenya’s leading radio station, Capital FM.

The soulful trio – Dr. Duda, J’Something and Mo-T – recently embarked on their tour that saw them perform from London to Holland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Canada and the US – taking their sound which incorporates soulful vocals, the guitar, keys and the trumpet to the world.

The 5-time South African Music Awards Winners will be joined by Webi, and Suzanna Owiyo at Nairobi’s urban oasis, Arboretum Gardens, on Sunday, 23rd of August, 2015.

The Koroga Festival, a bi-monthly music and arts festival, is aptly named after the Swahili word meaning “mix,” The Koroga Festival is a great reflection of Kenya’s brilliant and diverse local talent, whilst also attracting leading artists from all over the world through music, fashion, food and arts. In previous editions, international musical sensations including Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Sauti Sol, Simphiwe Dana, Baaba Maal, Papa Wemba and Freshlyground have captivated festival goers.

Advance tickets are KSh 1,500 on Ticket SASA and KSh 2,000 at the gate. Children below 12 years of age are free. Food and drinks are strictly prohibited.
