I’m an avid drinker (of water of course) and was refreshing to learn a new spin on how to drink it. I was first introduced to the concept of drinking lemon water when I read an article on infusing water, After learning a few benefits of lemon water I started drinking a glass every morning, here are 5 benefits you didn’t know about.

1. HELPS CUT OUT CAFFEINE

I didn’t believe this until I tried it, but replacing my morning fix of coffee with a cup of hot lemon water really has done wonders! I feel refreshed, and no longer have to deal with that pesky afternoon crash. That plus, my nerves are thankful 🙂 .

2. BOOSTS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM

Think of your body like a car, Lemon juice is full of Vitamin C which is in this context our immune systems jumper cables. The level of vitamin C in your system is one of the first things to plummet when you’re stressed, which is why experts recommended popping extra vitamin C during especially stressful days.

Bet you didn’t see that one coming! This is all thanks to the antioxidants in the lemon juice that not only aid in reducing blemishes but wrinkles too!!
Another cool thing would be applying the lemon juice on scars or aged spots to improve their appearance and maintain your skins radiance.

Lemons have a fiber called Pectin which help fight hunger cravings. Lemon juice also helps flush out toxins that maybe harmful to your liver.

Kenya will never be free from Tribalism and ethnocity. Where has the TI been for all this days? Going by the name “Samuel Kimeu “, he speaks like PNU-KKK psycophant. The KKI issue recieved it’s last coffin nail in the parliament and it’s very clear to any learned fellow or whomever unlerned that this issue was nothing but a “Political Vendetta”. Let us uphold personal trasparencey, national before we start applying TI lectures where not necessary. The Only people wh can resurrect the KKV issue now are not TI nor the government but WB itself and by failing to to show up to parliamentary committee, it’s indicative that the whole issue is about dirty politics and there is no need raiding political tempers where not necessary. Let’s concentrate on real issues not Vendetta and name calling.

Please be objective – TI has mentioned all corruption cases need investigation devoid of any political undercurrents. Would it have made a difference if someone with roots from Western Kenya had raised this issue – would it have been more acceptable to you? Can one not acknowledge that allegations need to be investigated period – after all the common denominator is ALL TAXPAYERS suffer irrespective of whether they are Kimeu or Otieno or Kamau or Ngetich etc. Does everything need to be seen with the ethnic eye – if so when will we ever have an adult debate on issues if the 1st thing we note is not the points raised but the persons origin/name and box him into an imagined political opinion/sway?
