You know Tinder right? That free location-based app that allows for social discovery hence allowing mutually interested users to meet up and form a “relationship”…Yes, that one.

Well, it turns out that people have expectations that they would like met when it comes to finally meeting that hottie they’ve had their eye on on the Tinder streets. Something funny though is that men and women who meet online have different fears and different expectations.

According to Simple Pickup a study revealed that one fear for women dating online is that they are going to meet a serial killer while the number one fear for men is that the woman they meet is going to be fat!  Thanks mostly to photo filter apps.

To put these fears to the test the Simple Pickup duo carried out a social experiment and had a female and a male tinder app users to line up a few dates and then put them in a fat suit just to prove how shallow some people can be.
