Heard the phrase don’t judge a book by its cover? Well you’re about to put that into practice.

Lipstick Queen, an Australian beauty brand, has released a new lip product that’s bound to catch your attention. The lipstick comes in an awkward emerald green shade that magically changes into a perfect pink when applied onto your lips.

Their new formula ensures that no two lips will look alike as the product adapts according to the individual’s pH, warmth and natural colour. Quite convenient considering how difficult it can be trying to find the right nude lipstick.

The product is infused with Vitamin E and Shea Butter ensuring that the lips are left moisturized.

“Things aren’t always what they seem. Sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince!” says Poppy King, founder of Lipstick Queen.

Notably, this new formula isn’t the first of its kind.

If you were born in the 70s or 80s and raised in Nairobi, then chances are you watched your mother grab a tube of green lipstick that would magically turn into a shade of red when applied to her lips. Granted the formula may not be identical to that of Lipstick Queen but they are both bound to mesmerize beauty fanatics with their chameleon-like tendency.
