American actor, producer and director Blair Underwood is using his star power for good, lending his voice to narrate his support for Kenya after the terrorist attack on Garissa University College on 2 April 2015.

“The World is increasingly a dangerous place but Kenya, East Africa is still one of the most amazing places on the planet. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of our friends there! #OnSafari #SamburuTribe,” the Hollywood heartthrob wrote as a caption for his Facebook cover photo, which shows him on safari in Kenya a couple of years ago.

The actor’s vocal updates have since gained momentum through social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook, highlighting the beauty of Kenya as a destination, providing a much needed tourism public relations boost for the nation.

On Wednesday, Underwood also uploaded another intimate photo of him riding into the sunset from the same trip. The photographs were captured by Duncan Willets, one of Africa’s and Europe’s major creative photographers and photojournalists.
