Kenyan female rapper Wangechi, will this Valentine’s Day share love with her fans by introducing the Wangechi Sessions, a series of videos of the acoustic versions of her fan-favourite songs.

Despite a not-so-pleasant end to last year following a tragic accident, Wangechi has started 2015 strongly, having already released her first single this year, Analogue Dream, as part of her 21st birthday celebration in January 19th. The track is a thrilling yet relaxed electro-rap song that features former Camp Mulla singer Karun.

The acoustic sessions videos will be released via Wangechi’s YouTube page on Saturday, February 14th at 12 am (EAT).

“Music is to me therapeutic and such sessions are like baby steps to my road to recovery…as I gear up for my upcoming 2015 music video debut,” says Wangechi. “This is a gift to my fans for their support during one of my most difficult moments.”

A total of six sessions will be uploaded in the coming weeks, audio versions will only be available via Waabeh. Different Kenyan personalities will be invited to join Wangechi in her acoustic live performance videos, as fans get to suggest some songs to perform.

Wangechi is currently working on getting her debut album ready.
