Suge Knight has reportedly been charged with murder.

The Death Row Records co-founder could face life behind bars for killing a man after he allegedly mowed down Terry Carter, 55 – who is believed to be a friend of his – in his red pickup truck in Compton, California, on Thursday (29.01.15).

He’s also reportedly been charged with attempted premeditated murder after ‘Training Day’ actor Cle ‘Bone’ Sloan, 51, was injured in the incident, as well as hit and run resulting in death, and hit and run resulting in injury, according TMZ.com.

The 49-year-old music mogul is currently being held without bail and is set to be arraigned on Tuesday (03.02.15).

The fatal incident occurred shortly before 3pm in the suburb of Los Angeles, where a movie shoot involving rappers Ice Cube and Dr. Dre is said to have been taking place.

Suge – whose real name is Marion Knight – reportedly arrived on set and was asked to leave by security before getting into a fight with two members of the film crew.

The producer – who is renowned for launching the careers of Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Tupac – reportedly drove to a fast-food restaurant car park before striking the two men with his vehicle.

However, Suge’s lawyer, James Blatt, claims Suge accidentally ran over Terry and Bone as he tried to escape a nasty attack.

Suge has previously been convicted of armed robbery and assault with a gun and has also served time for violating probation.
