The Koroga Festival, a bi-monthly music and arts festival, for the first time, is set to kick-off 2015 with a completely Kenyan Edition, featuring 2014 MTV EMA Best African Act Sauti Sol, Mayonde and Juliani on Sunday, February 1st, 2015.

Aptly named after the Swahili word meaning “mix,” The Koroga Festival is a great reflection of Kenya’s brilliant and diverse local talent, whilst also attracting leading artists from all over the world through music, fashion, food and arts. In previous editions, international musical sensations including Simphiwe Dana, Baaba Maal, Papa Wemba and Freshlyground have captivated festival goers.

The 5th edition of The Koroga Festival will see the renowned Kenyan group Sauti Sol grace Nairobi’s Arboretum Gardens. Sauti Sol was recently featured on BBC’s 1Xtra DJ Edu’s Africa’s Top 5 Acts to Watch in 2015 and will be sure to get people dancing with their energetic sets.

With an all-star line-up of musicians including Mayonde and Juliani, backed by popular deejays Protégé and Adrian, festival goers will be treated to another Sunday afternoon of captivating entertainment, food and arts.
