2014 iPhone Photography Awards: Winners announced!

The annual iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) is the first and the longest running iPhone photography competition in the world.  Since 2007, IPPAWARDS has been celebrating the creativity of iPhone users worldwide.

The winners of the 7th Annual Contest in the Photographers of the Year and following seventeen categories were announced on Tuesday: Animals, Architecture, Children, Flowers, Food, Landscape, Lifestyle, Nature, News/Events, Others, People, Seasons, Still Life, Sunset, Travel and Trees.

This year’s winning entries submitted by iPhone photographers from 54 iPhone photographers of following 17 countries: Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States.
Julio Lucas of Bradenton, Florida, United States won the coveted 1st place for the 2014 Photographer of the Year award.
The three winners in the Photographer of the Year will receive an iPad Air (16GB, Wi-Fi). The first place winner in each category will be awarded a Gold Bar from the most recognizable private gold mint in the world.

Incredibly, all of the images below were taken by an iPhone, and were not altered in PhotoShop or any desktop image processing program.
