In case you haven’t heard, MTV Africa, is hosting one of the biggest awards show in Africa on Saturday 7 June 2014 at the Durban International Convention Centre.

Trey Songz is the newest entertainer to confirm his performance/attendance at the MAMA’s 2014.

After Miguel said he was coming last week, joining Davido (Nigeria) and Mafikizolo, the party at Durban ICC is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated MAMA’s yet.

Since 2008, MAMA’s showcases artists from all over Africa and for the first time ever, the awards will be premiering live across Africa on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) and MTV (DStv Channel 130) at 21:00.

Non-music artists will also be acknowledged this year with the Personality of the Year category – with nominees including Chimamanda Adiche, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Trevor Noah, Lupita Nyong’o and Yaya Toure.
