The question, “Would you like a cup of tea, Madam?” often conjures up thoughts of old people with stereotypical English accents, dainty tea cups with dark brews, and a lot of mindless sipping.  But the truth is there’s much more to Afternoon Tea.

Afternoon Tea was created to foster friendship, and what better place to grow such great memories than at one of the oldest hotels in the country – the Sarova Stanley.

Afternoon Tea is opened daily 4:30pm – 6:00pm at the Sarova Stanley Pool Deck. Kshs 1,000 per person.

Poolside, indulge in the finest English Afternoon Tea experience in the heart of Nairobi, Kenya and whet your palate with an assortment of freshly baked pastries, crepes, hot savoury bitings and sandwiches.

Whether it’s the perfect watering hole to meet up with friends after a long day at the office or a nestled haven from traffic jams, the Pool Deck at the Stanley is transformed daily from 4:30pm to 6:00pm into a relaxed getaway with a diverse range of tea to match.

Here’s just a sample of what you can expect:
