Top 8 relationship deal-breakers, Bad Sex only 6th on list

black sexMany of us have a checklist, some may prefer to deny, but the truth is that we all have an invisible list packaged deep within our subconscious – a list that determines if he or she is the one we’re looking for, or things that make us run for the mountains.  Deal-breakers.

Researchers have found that when people are looking for partners, deal-breakers are no longer simply based on how much money one makes, religious values, ethnicity and similar life experiences.

“Today, we are seeing singles who are much more interested in finding partners with whom they can have real, loving relationships and deeper connections on an emotional level as opposed to what looks good on paper,” explains Dr. Justin R. Garcia, The Kinsey Institute.

In one study, Body Odour was the number one dating deal-breaker with 87 percent of surveyed women saying B.O. was definitely a no-go zone, which meant 1 in 10 women were okay with dating a smelly guy.

The same study revealed 68 per cent of men said their number one deal-breaker was a mustache.  Aesthetically and practically, Capital Lifestyle would have to agree with this one – who wants a prickly kiss anyways, especially when it’s the woman who has a five o’clock shadow?!

According to another new study, Dr. Justin R. Garcia and his team, found the following top relationship deal-breakers:

1. BEING DISHEVELED OR OF UNCLEAN APPEARANCE

2. BEING LAZY

3. BEING TOO NEEDY

4. LACK OF SENSE OF HUMOUR

5. DISTANCE

6. BAD SEX

Incredibly, only 44 percent of men and 49 per cent of women said bad sex was a deal-breaker.  So there’s still hope to get it right if you’re in a burgeoning romance!

Which of the 8 is your deal-breaker?
