Leave the ex well alone

Forget about the exes. Yes, the immediate ex and all your other exes. The mere fact that they are moving on with life and you’re not might actually take you backward instead of forward. Unfollow them on twitter, stop looking at their facebook and Instagram profiles and just be! Let go of your relationship hang-ups and start meeting new men even if it’s through friends. That way you will make progress in not only your love life but in your life generally.

Try and date yourself for a bit

Cheesy I know but it helps to look at yourself in a new light. If you’ve never pampered yourself so as to look good for ‘you’ then maybe you should start. One is always happier when they first start seeing someone new so if you start ‘seeing’ yourself then you will radiate happiness which will make you more approachable. Spoil yourself. Buy new underwear. Go for regular mani pedi’s and facials, change salons, splurge on new outfits and shoes and just behave like you’re doing it for the new guy in your life while in essence you’re the new guy in your life.
