STL slated for Norway reality show

STL-GANGSTER

Kenyan female rapper Stella Mwangi arrives in Nairobi this week, flanked by a TV crew from Norway’s version of KBC, to document a week of her life at home.

Stella, whose main business in Kenya over the next week is the MTV Africa All Stars tour on Friday, will be trailed as she goes about her business by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK).

“Any interviews that she will have locally and any work she does with local artistes will be filmed by the NRK crew,” according to Tim Adeka, who is part of Stella’s management team in Nairobi.

The reality offering will also be a precursor to any sights STL’s label EMI Norway may have on artists in the region.

The award winning musician will also travel to Tanzania and Uganda, to cement possible musical ties with major artistes there.

Since last year, Stella’s involvement in the local music scene has grown, dotted by two major concerts and the release of her latest tracks, including Shut It Down and Stella Stella Stella.

The versatile musician will be performing alongside P-Unit and Camp Mulla during the MTV All Stars tour on April 5, with South Africans Big Nuz and DJ Tira as the guest artistes.

Meanwhile, Stella has cut her hair and changed her dress code to complement the new music season. Check it out:
