Musician Bamboo’s little sister Victoria Kimani has released the cover of her first single under the successful Nigerian entertainment label Chocolate City.

Mtoto, which means baby in Swahili, is a precursor to the first album she is doing with Chocolate City, which is due out later this year.

Mtoto’s official release date is February 15. The song is supposedly about a guy trying to hit on a young girl, but she retorts that never in his wildest dreams is he going to get ‘this mtoto’.

Victoria will shoot the video for the song next month and spend time in the country to promote her new music and give a face to Chocolate City Kenya. Vickie is currently based in the US.

Chocolate’s Nigerian version is behind the success of artists like Ice Prince, MI, Jesse and Brymo, and their East African arm headquartered in Kenya is hoping to replicate these achievements.

In a statement released by Chocolate City Kenya this morning, Victoria was described as Chocolate City Kenya’s first lady.

The company is hoping to focus their efforts on Victoria as they kick off their EA operations with their eyes wide open to check out for any outstanding talent.
