A sneak peak into the ‘REAL’ Omotola

It turns out that not only D’Banj likes Omotola! The movie star, mom, and celebrity’s clout has now earned her a very prominent spot on AfricaMagic Entertainment.

Starting December 6, a reality show featuring the ‘REAL’ Omotola will be on screen, detailing the life of the star, her work and her family.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde says that the she has held nothing back from her fans.

“You will get to see everything. What we are doing is very real. It’s basically my whole life. The parts where I’m taking care of the kids, the parts where I’m taking care of the home, the parts when I am working, the parts where I’m yelling. It’s crazy. My life is crazy!” she said.

A statement from DStv revealed that audiences will join the actress as she launches her latest movies, expands her business interests… remains devoted to her marriage and her family, and works to maintain a balance between her professional and personal responsibilities.

The series OMOTOLA: THE REAL ME will air every Thursday evening for 13 weeks, with scenes from Lagos, London, Ghana, Miami and Kingston (Jamaica).

The sassy actress says the show is very open, but is fit for a wide audience.

“Yes my image is ‘omosexy’ but this show is for the whole family. Its good content for everyone,” she says.

M-Net Africa Managing Director Biola Alabi commended Omotola for letting fans into her world.

“It’s not easy to have cameras following you, filming you in your good moments and your ‘not so good’ moments. Omotola is already a very busy person so to let viewers share her life is a very brave step to take. Of course, she is enormously entertaining so we know that the series will be fun, interesting television which will result in a lot of texting, tweeting and talking among followers.”

OMOTOLA: THE REAL ME was executive produced by IFactory Live, Oh Africa and Red Hot Concepts.

Out of the spotlight, Omotola is a WFP Ambassador and an activist for Amnesty International.
