Are your fashion buds ready for the 2nd Safari Fashion Week?

The Association of Fashion Designers AFAD (K), announces its signature 2nd Safari Fashion Week, following its successful launch in November last year, the event is back and is bigger this time. The platform is created to contribute positively on matters fashion, with an ultimate goal of expanding knowledge in business amongst the Kenyan fashion designers. The association aims to promote African fashion and its textile products. The show also aims at showcasing and promoting talent and creativity amongst the youth through the emerging young designers.

This year’s theme dubbed “Raw Energy” will see all time favorites Peggy O, Sally Karago, Betty Vanetti and many others return on the Safari catwalk. Emerging designers will also debut, all showcasing collections based on the designer’s interpretation of the theme.

Supported by Chase bank, Brand Kenya, EABL and L’Oreal, the guests will be delighted as a fabulous catwalk of elegant and wearable fashions in an array of categories from casual daywear to evening couture takes centre stage.

The second annual Safari Fashion Week will take place at The Carnivore, Nairobi Wednesday November 14, 2012. The red carpet begins at 7:30 pm, with a cocktail followed by the key event on the runway set to start at 8.00pm.  Tickets are Kshs 3,000.00 for individuals, Kshs 27,000.00 for 10 tickets for the corporate client and Kshs 1,500.00 for students only. Tickets available at AFAD (K) offices on Ngong rd, all Tamarind outlets in Nairobi, Absolute Juice 2nd floor Yaya centre and Vivo wear, at the Junction Mall.
