Kalasha submission window closes on Friday

Film-makers and actors have until this Friday to submit their best works for this year’s Kalasha Film and Television Awards.

 

Sponsored by the Kenya Film Commission to promote local productions, the Kalasha Awards are scheduled for December this year and will be looking to fete TV dramas, documentaries, short films, animations and even student documentaries.

 

Entrants are being asked to send their submissions accompanied by production details and screening history.

 

Bob Nyanja’s movie The Rugged Priest was the star performer last year, but this year local hit Nairobi Half Life looks set to sweep the podium.

 

According to the Kenya Film Commission, several submissions have already been entered for the categories below:
