PM Raila votes for Prezzo

Prime Minister Raila Odinga has officially joined the Team Prezzo hash-tag with a plea to all Kenyans to vote for the musician to win as Big Brother Africa Stargame enters its last stretch.

In a tweet this morning, the PM said he would like all ‘Kenyans to come together in large numbers & vote for Prezzo’.

This is the first time a senior government official has made a comment on the reality TV show, which is watched by millions of people across the continent.

Prezzo is the second Kenyan contestant to ever make it to the finals of the contest, and could be the first Kenyan to ever win it. (Vote for Prezzo here).

Nominated MP Millie Odhiambo also vouched for Prezzo, saying all of ODM ‘reloaded’ supports the young lad.

“It’s about time a Kenyan won this event,” she told Capital Lifestyle.

The CMB was saved from eviction last night with four country votes, namely; Kenya, Tanzania, Liberia and the Rest of Africa.

He tied with Lady May, who got backing from Angola, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Kyle had the most votes, at 6, snapping up even Uganda’s support over his compatriot, Janette, who only got Ghana’s help.

The petit housemate was the latest casualty, dropping at her very first nomination.

Will Kenya win BBA for the first time?

According to the current voting patterns, Prezzo stands a good chance of winning the Stargame – hypothetically speaking. This is because none of his four votes (which have been constant the past two weeks) are likely to be shared with the other Upvillers, as contestants from those countries have already left the house.

Namibian Lady May is likely to lose the Angola count to Talia to make three votes, while Kyle will most probably lose Malawi, South Africa, and Zambia as contestants from those countries are still in the run for the Sh25 million. This sees his six-vote strength cut by half.

Rude-boy Keegan is likely to secure the Ghanaian vote due to his friendship with evicted contestant Keitta, and together with his native South Africa, that gives him two.

Keegan, who is Prezzo’s strongest opposer in the house, had once said that he would slit his wrists if the Kenyan wins but we hope that he has since reconsidered.
