The Festival for African Fashion and Arts (FAFA) held a fashionista event dubbed FAFA Insight, on Saturday June 30 at Sierra, Yaya Centre. The aim of the event was to give emerging Kenyan fashion designers an opportunity to showcase their talent.
FAFA Insight is a fashion competition that was publicized mostly through social media and word of mouth. Among hundreds of hopeful applicants,18 designers were selected by FAFA judges to create a new collection themed “Rebranding Africa”, which was showcased on the catwalk.
In third place was Gala Tatarinova
In 2nd Place was Azra Walji
And Jamil Walji came in FIRST place
Ogake Mosomi won the Capital FM People’s Choice Award
