Madagascar 3 tops box office, win tickets

The animated “Madagascar 3,” the third installment in the wildly popular franchise starring Ben Stiller about escaped New York zoo animals, opened with a bigger-than-expected $60.3 million debut, according to Exhibitor Relations.

“Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” beat out “Prometheus” to take the top spots in the North American box office charts over the weekend, industry figures showed Monday.

MADAGASCAR 3 in 3D IMAX is coming to Nairobi, and Capital Kids is giving you a chance to win tickets to the premiere on Saturday, June 23rd.
