It’s been nearly seven months since Capital Lifestyle Magazine’s last visit to Seven Seafood & Grill, Nairobi’s favourite seafood hotspot.

Of all of the restaurants and bars in Nairobi, Seven rang in the year 2012 with the most style – opening a new swanky champagne and cocktail bar.

Endorsed by champagne giant Veuve Clicquot, Seven’s new cocktail bar continues to echo the restaurant’s modern, minimal and contemporary décor with accents of ocean blue hues. Though situated in a relatively small space, Seven has used this shortcoming as the perfect backdrop for intimate and efficient modular seating – making it easy move from crowd to crowd. From the look and feel of the drinks menu to the ambient tea lights to the wall displays of champagne, you know you’re in for a great evening from the moment you step in.

With a long list of signature Champagne cocktails, Martinis, Fish Bowl cocktails and even ice cream cocktails with names like Strawberry Shortcake or Cookies n Cream; whether you’re a seasoned mixologist or a light social drinker, Seven’s fun and interactive drinks will surely keep you coming for more.

With a new tapas menu inspired by Seven’s staple menu debuting in a week/s time, the Champagne and cocktail bar will also host 2 for 1 happy hours. The Seven team hopes to offer the finest of wines, Champagne and vintages at an affordable price.

A Capital Lifestyle must-try is the Seven’s Tsunami Fish Bowl cocktail, or a giant margarita with a beer bomb, enough for a couple of good friends or lovers to sip on. In a vivid ocean blue hue, the De-fish-ency is another sweet Fish Bowl cocktail worth trying.
