STL spreads wings in East Africa

Kenyan international artist Stella Mwangi went to Uganda Thursday to start off a tight schedule of performances slated for East Africa this festive season.

Stella aka STL who flew in from Norway Wednesday night will be holding a series of meetings and interviews as she plans her 2012 line-up.

“She has several projects that she has been putting together in liaison with some key players in the Ugandan Entertainment sector. She also has several meetings with potential business investors who she will be pitching a few ideas to/ laying out a plan for 2012,” her team told Capital Lifestyle.

After the hard work to crown a busy year, STL is expected to spend some quality time with her family before heading out to Nakuru and Eldoret for shows on the 23 and 25.

“She leaves for Tanzania on 27th December. In Tanzania, Stella will be finalizing some projects she has been working on together with a few key players in the TZ entertainment sector.”

Though no names were mentioned, STL met with a group of Ugandan artists during the recent Channel O Awards in Johannesburg.

The likes of Navio, Keko, Radio and Weasle, and AY were all in the vicinity after being nominated for video awards.

STL is slated for a show in Mombasa on December 30 before heading back to Norway in the New Year.
