November 19, 2010 – American gospel music artiste CeCe Winans is in the country.

Accompanied by her husband, Alvin Love and her band members she arrived at 5.30am on a Kenya Airways flight from Accra, Ghana where she was performing on Wednesday.

The award winning singer who was in high spirits, was received at the airport by Orange Head of Corporate Communications, Angela Nganga- Mumo, representatives of other organisations that are sponsoring her visit to Kenya and fans who braved the early morning chill to be at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

CeCe Winans is scheduled to perform this evening at the Bomas of Kenya, in a five hour praise session curtain raised by leading praise and worship unit; AFLEWO.

During her musical career spanning over two decades, the 46-year-old CeCe, has received 11 Grammy awards, 21 Grammy nominations and numerous Dove and Stellar awards.
