Cloud Tissa to tour Kenya in October

October4, 2010 – Rwandan born artiste Cloud Tissa who was raised in Mombasa and now based in Vienna, Austria will be in the country in October for a 2-3 week tour, a source close to the singer revealed.

Cloud Tissa released his album in March this year and it is believed that he could be coming back to re-organize for a popularization tour.

Our source says, “While here he plans to look for some collabo’s. I’m not very sure yet but I believe he could work on a track with Rufftone.”

Cloud Tissa’s second musical effort dubbed “Physically Fit” has been produced in two continents and blends the sounds of dancehall, reggae, RnB, hip hop and Afro Fusion into the mainstream with a style that is very unique. The sophomore album features musical contributions from producers like Robert ‘R Kay’ Kamanzi, Julian Hruza, and Eric Musyoka among others. The album was recorded in different studios between Nairobi and Vienna.

“Physically Fit” also is said to showcase various collabo’s with Kenyan musicians like Nameless, Wyre, Kidum, Risasi, C.L.D, German rapper P-Tah (Hoerspiel Crew) and top R’n’b singer Didier Wayo among others.

On a different story, Jamaican dancehall star Alaine Laughton and Kenyan siren STL will be headlining the third series of the Sepetuka show in the country.

Alaine is famed for hits such as Rise in Love and Without You. She was born in New Jersey, but moved to Jamaica at the age of three.

STL is currently riding high on her hit song Favourite.

The event is set to take place at the Carnivore on November 6th where a number of DJ’s have been lined up.

Arif ‘SupaCoop’ Cooper is also said to be joining a star studded cast of DJs who include SilverStar Deejays Randy and Gussy, DJ Burn, DJ Nelly, DJ Hassan, DJ John, DJ Wesley, DJ Vin and G Money.
