April 9, 2010 – Just in case you missed Nigerian R&B crooner Darey during the MAMA Awards ceremony last October, he flew into Nairobi last night ahead of Naija Nite.
Darey will be featuring alongside the infamous Basketmouth, Nigeria’s biggest comedy act since Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock videos. He’s a funny looking chap with even funnier stories.
Darey will be one of the two tings involved at the Carnivore on Saturday, April 10, including a host of international DJs whom it is said ‘will guarantee that things don’t happen as they usually do’ for you on Satos.
Darey shot to fame after his skills were displayed on Africa’s Project Fame music reality TV show. He has since released an album, Undareyted and been nominated for several music awards, including the MAMA.
Before Naija Nite, where entrance is Sh500 for the ordinary gallery and Sh3,000 for VIP, th
e duo will have a super-exclusive meet and greet at the Zen Garden tonight.
Organisers says the never before seen VVIP will be capped at 150 pax, at a cost of Sh3,000. Whoever gets into the party will however not have to pay to gain entry to Naija Nite.
