NAIROBI, October 26, 2009 – Another star-studded line up of African stars will converge again this month, this time at the Carnival City in Gauteng, South Africa on Thursday.

It will be the Channel O Music Video Awards, brought to you by Amarula Cream, and where the Kenyan fraternity of stars will include Wahu, Amani and Risasi featuring Collo.

A highlight of the night is set to be a live performance of ‘All Around Africa’ – the song that was specially created for the winner of this year’s Emcee Africa II Cybil Nyte.

It sees the prodigiously talented Nyte performing with African hip-hop royalty in the form of Naeto C (Nigeria), Nazizi (Kenya), Zeus (Botswana), HHP (SA) and Proverb (SA).

Just to keep the suspense going, a high-profile mystery guest is also in the line-up but fans will have to wait until the day itself to find out, says Channel O.

The Awards will be hosted by Nonhle, Lungile and KB. Winners are chosen by the public who will be able to vote via SMS or online.

Voters can also win big as there is the grand prize of a trip for two lucky Channel O viewers to the awards from anywhere in Africa as well as $1000 to be won each week for the 12 week voting period.
