LR Health & Beauty Systems is trying to put itself on the beauty map: following perfume releases under the names of Swedish top model Marcus Schenkenberg and British variety show winner Leona Lewis, the company is now launching fragrances inspired by the characters of US hit TV show Desperate Housewives.

Named after the different characters (e.g. Susan), each scent is supposed to match the respective personality of the TV drama: apple, white jasmine and amber for Bree, orange flower, cedar and sandalwood for Susan, citrus, cardamom and musk for Lynette, and raspberry, rose petals and patchouli for Gabrielle.

Coty previously released a Desperate Housewives-inspired fragrance called Forbidden Fruit in 2006.

LR’s fragrances are priced at €34.95 and currently only available in Europe and Asia.
