Wanja KibikuUSIU student WanjaKibuki is on a mission to see children from marginalized schools develop their reading and writing skills. She runs an initiative called ‘VitabuVyetu’ which aims to reduce illiteracy by donating reading and writing material to primary school children.

“I envision myself reaching out to the hard-stricken areas where they have no access to education and set up schools and libraries that will give them hope for building a future.”

Wanja is an ambassador for ‘Read Aloud’, a non-profit organization that is working to encourage children to embrace a reading culture through read-aloud sessions.
