It’s Monday morning and as usual the weekend hangover has a firm grip on you and the warmth of your bed keeps you wrapped in the blankets. You toss once or twice and before you know it, it’s 8.30 and class starts in fifteen minutes. Solution?  An alarm that is guaranteed to wake you up on time.

Here are a couple of apps that ensure you get to class on time. No more “ I got stuck in traffic” excuses.

Wake n Shake app, only lets you turn your alarm off by shaking your phone rigorously.

This will definitely ensure you wake up with no chance of getting back in bed.

After lots of research, it was noted that a night of sleep has various cycles which include intervals of light and heavy sleep cycles. The app wakes you up at your lightest sleep cycle to ensure you enjoy quality sleep and wake up refreshed.

The best of us struggle with early mornings. The I Can’t wake Up!  app, puts you through a series of activities to keep you from hitting the snooze button. For a head start before you actually get into class, get your mind right with the math equations, memory tests and writing tests on offer in the app.

If you just can’t seem to get out of bed, there’s now an app that requires you to physically get out of bed to switch off the alarm. Spin Me! App requires that you get up and spin twice to shut off the alarm. If that won’t get you up, then I don’t know what will.
