sleep class

Students all over the world don’t mind a day off from school. But while schools close because of horrid weather conditions, one principal decided to flip the coin by giving students a day off because of beautiful weather, reports Time magazine.

Len McWilliams of Calvary Christian School in Columbus called off classes on Friday because of a “commitment he made to find a positive reason to cancel classes before he retires at the end of the year.”

AP reports that McWilliams had been canceling classes for years due to blizzards and felt it was time to cancel for a good reason – the sky was clear and the temperatures were favourable.
