Uber’s in-app content partnership with Man United now in Kenya

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 2 – Uber has announced its global sports partnership with Manchester United will soon be rolled out in Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria.

Fans of the football team and the ride-sharing app will enjoy exclusive content, giving them access to a front seat experience into the game and Manchester United.

Uber announced the global partnership three weeks ago promising Man Utd fans around the world access to behind-the-scenes content from their favourite team and experience a more united match day with fellow supporters – irrespective of where fans are watching.

Alon Lits, General Manager for Uber Sub Saharan Africa said in a statement that there will also be a chance for fans to win a trip to the club’s legendary Theatre of Dreams.

“This partnership allows us to connect riders in South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya with a one of a kind Manchester United experience,” said Lits.

Uber said it will be revealing the specific experiences Manchester United fans can expect to see in their home countries.
