NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 14 – Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair Monday met President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House, Nairobi, and discussed development, focusing on the government’s priority areas for improving the lives of Kenyans.

Blair’s visit is part of his Africa Governance Initiative’s ongoing work in the country.

The Africa Governance Initiative (AGI) works with African governments to strengthen functions that are key to helping on the realisation of countries’ development targets.

Other African countries working with AGI in development include Ethiopia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.
