If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Get your focus right, you also need to be self-driven. Look for ideas that will solve problems.

How do you build a successful customer base?

Knowing what exactly your client wants is key, build on delivering the same in a timely manner. Always get feedback from your clients so as you can improve on delivery constantly as well as correcting your mistakes.

How do you define success?

For me, success is being able to help others achieve their dreams, as I achieve my dreams. When I am comfortable and I am extending the same to others, I am successful.

How many hours do you work a day on average?

From 9am to 9pm. I wake up at 4.30 am, pray and listen to inspirational stuff up to 5.30 am, read what is trending online up to 6.00 am, hit the gym at 6.30 to 8am. From 8 to 9 am, I prepare for work, break at around 6- 7.30 pm continue with work up to 9pm.

How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?

Not in any way as I was one (an entrepreneur) before I got a family.

What motivates you?

MONEY!!!

How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?

Until it comes to fruition but if it loses the business sense, then I give up on it.

How do you generate new ideas?

By reading a lot, being in touch with what is trending and also brainstorming with my team members. Hanging out with people who challenge me has also been helpful.

How far are you willing to go to succeed?

Whatever it takes so long as it is not criminal!!

What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?

Poverty. I work hard to avoid experiencing it.

Who has been your greatest inspiration?

My family at home and my team at work.

What book has inspired you the most?

Did you say books (lol), well I have three books, and I don’t know which to choose from: Rich Dad poor Dad by R. Kiyosaki, from good to great, the art of the deal D. Trump

To what do you most attribute your success?

My resilience. I am focused, I believe I am also a fighter. Believing in myself has attributed a lot as well as going out there and making it happen.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

When am approached by international Investors who want to partner with us. When am invited in various forums, for example, the Presidential and CBK Governor’s forum recently and when am invited as a motivational speaker for the youth.

What company or business do you admire the most?

Microsoft, Safaricom, Equity Bank, Coca-cola company and MODE.
