NAIROBI, Kenya, May 13 – Kenya Airways, which started operations between Accra and Monrovia in March this year will now sell transit traffic through Nairobi to its entire network.

This is after the Kenyan Ministry of Health lifted the suspension initiated in August 2014, for persons who had visited Liberia following the outbreak Ebola.

Group CEO and Managing Director Mbuvi Ngunze commented: “The airline in consultation with the Ministry of Health has constantly assessed the situation and is pleased with the latest development.”

Kenya Airways thanked its passengers who have been patient throughout the nine months of suspension.
