, Our client is a leading tea manufacturing company in Kenya and a subsidiary of a multinational company. They are looking to hire the above to be based in the above locations Rift Valley and Mombasa.
Job Purpose/Summary
This Position Brand support to the Sales Team in engaging the Trade and Consumers as per the pre-agreed activity schedule with the Brands, Regional Managers’ & HoReCa & Institutional Sales. This Team will run the consumer sampling campaigns, market centre storming, new accounts activations and trade fair and Agricultural shows promotions.
Duties and Responsibilities
 Participate in conducting internal analysis of the department by providing data related to Distribution sales performance.
 Collect external environment data related to distribution sales so that the same can be used for planning purpose.
 Work to achieve distribution sales targets as finalized by management.
 Identify and add new distributors to The Company Channel Champions/Distribution sales network.
 Maintain and update distributors database containing all the details related to distributors of The Company.
 Ensure that all the distributors of The Company are aware of the various products of The Company Life. In case of any kind of product training, usage training etc is required the same should be arranged.
 Monitor the sales performance of distributors and track the sales of various products sold by distributors.
 Agree to a reporting mechanism with distributors and ensure reports are prepared as per schedule.
 Ensure stocks out are prevented at distributors site by providing replenishment of the stock on schedule once the order is confirmed.
 Proactively alert the Management if market information is received from distributors that may indicate shortage of certain product Categories in market.
 Ensure timely payment by distributors.
 Maintain and propose modification of credit limit/terms of various distributors based on their performance.
 Align promotional activities done by marketing team with distribution sales channels.
 Liaise with delivery Area/Regional Managers to ensure that deliveries to distributors are done as per schedule.
 Conduct performance review of distributors as scheduled.
 Help distributors in formulating their sales plan, promotions, reporting etc.
 Gather market information via distributors and pass on the information to the sales team.
 Manage the performance of regional heads and the sales representatives by monitoring their sales, reconciliations & Reporting.
 Participate in any meetings called by Management and other department heads.
 Share the internal and external data related to distribution sales with the team which would be used for planning purpose.
 Pass any quality related issues or complaints received from market to Quality Assurance.
 Pass on any information that may help in new product development.
 Quarterly track all activities required to be executed to meet the objectives of the marketing initiative and discuss it with the marketing team, as per the Annual Plan.
 Help marketing team in execution of activities as and when required.
 Coordinate with logistics in charge to insure timely delivery to customers.
 Share market intelligence regarding competitor activities, new products, and new customer demands with the team.
Minimum Requirement
 The Job holder will be an accomplished Public Speaker, Deejays Skills & valid drivers’ License.
 2 years experience and relevant degree qualifications
 Strong business development and strategy formulation.

 Retail, Consumer marketing or sales background or proven knowledge of digital consumer selling channels
 Possess a personal passion for marketing, customer relationship, technology, partners and satisfaction.
 Negotiation and influencing skills that gain successful outcomes for the company
 High levels of energy, drive, creativity and innovation
 Demonstrate excellent presentation and negotiation skills
 Organized, analytical and computer literate.
 Self-motivated and self-driven individual with prospective personal development within the company.

Salary Budget: Kshs. 45,000-60,000 Gross and other additional benefits
