Our client is a leading tea manufacturing company in Kenya and a subsidiary of a multinational company. They are looking to hire a Customer Care Executive to be based in Nairobi and Mombasa.
Job Purpose/Summary
This position offers back office support to the commercial team being a liaison between Customers, Sales, Brands, Production, Logistics and Finance. The team members will be based in Mombasa and Nairobi.
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in conducting internal analysis of the department by providing data related to partners’ sales performance.
Collect external environment data related to, market, competition etc on the basis of agreed framework.
Conduct competitor study to gather competitor information and their activities.
Meet potential clients and inform them regarding The Company Life products.
Ensure clients have updated price list whenever prices are revised.
Prepare sales report and share it with the Commercial Team on a weekly basis.
Take feedback from client on brand awareness, competitors, service quality etc.
Collect orders from clients.
Ensure timely payment collection from the customers.
Find out reasons in case of lost order in case a customer cancels and discontinues partnership.
Coordinate with Brand Manager/ Area Managers for marketing and promotional activities to be done for channel partners.
Ensure that the stock is available at all shelves at customer site.
Ensure proper replenishment of clients stock by keeping updates of stock position
Discuss clients’ complaints and issue with Team Head and resolve the issues.
Ensure performance of team including visual merchandisers and key accounts manager are appropriate to achieve company sales targets.
Manage performance of the Channel Champion/ Trade Partner team by monitoring their sales performance.

Minimum Requirement
Business degree or Diploma in related field.
Must be computer literate.
2 years experience in a busy commercial environment.
Strong business development and strategy formulation
Be able to effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation, using strong communication, project management and organizational skills.
Retail, Consumer marketing or sales background or proven knowledge of digital consumer selling channels
Possess a personal passion for marketing, customer relationship, technology, partners and satisfaction.
Negotiation and influencing skills that gain successful outcomes for the company
High levels of energy, drive, creativity and innovation
Demonstrate excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Organized, analytical and computer literate.
Self-motivated and self-driven individual with prospective personal development within the company.
Salary Budget: Kshs. 45,000-60,000 Gross and other additional benefits
