Also appointed to the board is Damaris Wanjiru Muhika who will also serve for a period of three years, effective February 2, 2015.
The new appointments are contained in the latest Kenya Gazette Notice published on Friday.
It replaces the one published in 2012 which now stands revoked.
Kisotu replaces Adan Mohammed.
Before her appointment, Kisotu was a member of Nairobi City County Public Service Board and the chairperson of the Audit and ICT Committee of the board.
The mother of three has also been Chief Accountant at the National Water Corporation.
She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration – Finance Management from Moi University and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK) from Strathmore University.
She attended Maasai Girls Secondary school and Iloiboit Primary in Narok East.
