Airtel Kenya announces senior appointments

DICK-OMONDINAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 15 – Bharti Airtel has appointed Josee Cremieux and Dick Omondi as the new customer service director and corporate affairs director respectively.

Cremieux’s appointment is part of the company’s commitment to offering excellent customer experiences.

She will be responsible for creating a world class customer care culture and to inspire improved performance driven by customer retention and satisfaction.

Cremieux joins Airtel Kenya from Airtel Congo Brazzaville where she was the Customer Service Director for five years.

Her experience at Airtel spans 14 years where she served in various capacities in marketing, customer service and international roaming

Cremieux has an MBA from the University of Corte France in Business Administration and Master in International Economics from the University of Brazzaville (Marien Ngouabi).

The company has also announced a merger of its public relations & corporate social responsibility with that of regulatory and legal affairs into a new corporate affairs unit to be led by Omondi who now becomes the corporate affairs director of the telco.

Omondi brings a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in various reputable organisations across East Africa, five of which have been at the helm of Corporate Communications and CSR at Airtel Kenya.
