3 lucky Kenyans win cars in Shell promotion

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 27 – Vivo Energy Kenya, the company that distributes and markets Shell branded fuels and lubricants, on Thursday awarded three Kenyans with vehicles worth Sh11 million in a customer reward campaign dubbed Shinda Ndai na Shell.

Twenty motor-bikes worth Sh2 million were also given away as hundreds of other lucky winners won instant prizes valued at Sh23 million through fuel vouchers ranging between Sh300 and Sh3,000 in the just ended promotion.

The three were handed over keys to a 33-seater Isuzu minibus, Nissan double cabin and a Mitsubishi saloon car in a prize giving ceremony that was graced by the winners and their families, service station retailers and Vivo Energy members of staff.

In the promotion, the company was rewarding loyal customers as well as encouraging motorists to try their products.

To win the prizes on offer, customers were to fill-up with any Shell differentiated fuels including Shell V-Power, Shell Unleaded extra and Shell Diesel extra.

The promotion targeted private vehicles and motorbikes owners as well as company fleet operators.

“We at Vivo Energy Kenya are always responding to the needs of our retailers and customers. It is in this light that we have drastically increased the number of our retail stations, and rolled-out exciting customer reward campaigns,” said Polycarp Igathe, Managing Director Vivo Energy Kenya.

“Our focus on continuous improvement and developing customer focused promotions is something that we want our clients to see coming through in their daily activities, and that is why this promotion will change the lives of Kenyans who have won, their family and perhaps relatives.”

Shinda Ndai Na Shell campaign comes at the back of a very successful V-Power campaign that ran last year and rewarded over 15,000 Shell V-Power loyal customers.

Last year, the company opened eight more service stations including reviving and upgrading dormant ones.
