NAIROBI, Kenya, May 14 – Airtel Kenya has announced the introduction of a new range of affordable, flexible bundles starting on Tuesday.
Dubbed Airtel Tosha, customers will be able to choose the bundles that fit their unique individual needs for voice calls, SMS and data services at a low daily subscription rate.
To subscribe to the Airtel Tosha bundles the customer will simply dial *767# from their Airtel phones and choose their preferred bundle.
“Airtel Kenya is the first in the market to launch an integrated bundle service that allows customers to enjoy competitive rates on voice calls, data and SMS. This is yet another flexible service founded on our promise to extend the benefit of innovation and affordability to our customers. It makes communication more flexible, interactive and exciting,” Airtel Kenya Managing Director Shivan Bhargava said in a statement.
Bhargava said the initiative is in response to insights from the customer surveys indicating that customers in Kenya need greater freedom of communication through access to affordable superior quality communication and service for ease of daily contact with family and friends from the convenience of using just one SIM card.
He said customers have different communication needs that may vary by the day and this product offers them the freedom to choose their own tailor-made Airtel Tosha bundle to maximise on their communication plans.
The telecom firm believes the new product bundles will ensure that its prepaid customers in Kenya get more value while spending less on voice calls, SMS and Data depending on their needs during the 18 hour daily availability of the product.
