MOMBASA, Kenya, Sep 23 – Consumer electronics firm Samsung Electronics East Africa has bolstered its local market presence with the opening of a fully fledged brand retail store in Mombasa.
The new Samsung Retail Brand store at City Mall, in Nyali area will provide the full range of Samsung products and services as the firm steps up its retail presence across major towns.
Speaking in Mombasa, Samsung Electronics East Africa General Manager, Allan Oyier explained that new brand store will also feature an interactive consumer experience zone.
“This outlet here in Mombasa is one of Samsung’s flagship brand shops, offering visitors from different countries the chance to touch, feel and interact with Samsung’s latest products including its market leading portfolio of smartphones, tablets, SMART TVs, cameras, notebooks, monitors, home appliances and more,” explained Oyier.
He added: “The range of products available in the brand shop include the entire range of the Samsung Built for Africa series with key features such as the SurgeSafe+ to protect against the common power black outs, humidity, energy efficiency and lightening protection.”
The opening of the brand shop comes hot on the heels of the company’s unveiling of premium products including the Samsung Galaxy S3, multi-function printer and smart cameras.
