NAIROBI, Mar 3 – Barclays Bank of Kenya has unveiled "Beba Sasa na Barclaycard," a new innovative lending product that offers an easy instalment payment proposition for Barclaycard holders.
The Barclaycard Easy Instalment plan enables customers to buy big and pay small by giving them very structured repayments on their credit cards.
Unveiling the new product, the Regional Managing Director for East and West Africa Adan Mohamed said: “The new Barclaycard visual identity we are unveiling today signifies our strategy to keep our customers one step ahead. This launch is in line with Barclays Kenya’s strategy of continuously looking at ways to enhance our financial products and services – to ensure we anticipate and meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
The new product gives Barclays customers a simple and easy access to goods and services. With this Beba Sasa na Barclaycard plan, customers will choose a flexible repayment plan that suits their needs.
Mr Mohamed added that access to the Beba Sasa na Barclaycard plan is only a simple phone call away.
“All customers need to do is swipe their cards at the merchant point, and within 30 days advise Barclays that they want to utilise the easy instalment plan. Customers can reach us 24-hours a day, seven days a week by calling the Barclays Contact Centre, which is staffed by in-house customer service agents. There is no extra paper work required with Beba Sasa na Barclaycard – our goal is to make it easy to bank with Barclays,” said Mr Mohamed.
The Barclaycard Easy Instalment Plan product is the first among several new products to be launched by Barclaycard.
